Surprisingly, more than half of Americans live with chronic or recurrent pain, usually back or neck pain. When pain is severe or never seems to end, life can be unbearable. That’s when people need the help of a pain management specialist like Lafayette Pain Care.

Chronic pain is persistent and ongoing, typically lasting six months or longer. Chronic pain can cause tense muscles, limit mobility, sap one’s energy, and change one’s appetite. • Back pain
  • Cancer pain
  • Headache
  • Neurogenic pain (pain from damaged nerves)
  • Psychogenic pain (pain with no visible cause)

Chronic pain and acute pain conditions can vary and include:
